Lease Termination Options

The best laid plans of mice and men oft do go awry. Yup, Burns was right. Life is life; things happen. And what was a good idea yesterday might not be such a great idea today. All of this applies to leasing as well. Sometimes people lease cars only to find themselves wanting out of that lease. Maybe they’ve undergone some serious life changes, such as marriage, having kids, or, sadly, divorce. Or maybe they’d lease a little coupe only to later find new interests that require their being able to haul stuff around. And then there are financial setbacks — or financial windfalls – that can make a person wish they’d leased a less expensive vehicle, a more expensive one, or none at all.
If any of these sorts of things apply to you, if you’re wanting out of a present lease, we can help. When it comes to ending a lease, you have a few options.

Letting Your Lease Die Naturally

Allowing your lease to “die naturally” is the standard way of ending a lease. It’s simply fulfilling the terms of the original lease, making all the payments until your lease is over. Once your lease is up, you can re-lease, finding a vehicle that better suits your present needs and situation. If you’re wanting to re-lease, you’re in luck, because we’re able to offer you any new model coupe, sedan, convertible, SUV, van, minivan, or truck made by Acura, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Ram, Subaru, Smart, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo.
And we’re able to offer them all to you at a price our competitors just can’t touch. They can’t beat us when it comes to leasing prices because of a big difference between us and them: we don’t have a physical car lot. Instead, we have a virtual one, a car lot you can find on the internet. Having a virtual car lot instead of a physical one keeps our overhead low since we don’t have to pay those huge bills that having a physical lot entails – the property costs, property taxes, property insurance, utility bills, and what not. We keep our prices down so we can keep your leasing prices down.

Ending Your Lease Early

If you don’t want to, or can’t, fulfill the terms of your present lease and want out of it early, give us a call and let’s talk. We can help you get out of your present lease and into a different one that better fits your budget or your changed needs. Or we can help you get out of your lease altogether, without releasing at all.

Ending Your Lease Early with a Lease Transfer

Our favorite way of helping people get out of leases early is to help them do a lease transfer. A lease transfer is when a third party takes over your present lease. You win by getting out from under any and all obligations of that lease, and the third party wins by getting the vehicle he wants without having to make a down payment, and without having to take on the responsibilities of a full term lease. The third party makes all the remaining payments, and you’re home free to either lease a different vehicle or to not lease at all.
